WEVAS® Awards
NEW: WEVAS® Graduating Student Award
This award is presented to a student receiving their Grade 12 diploma who is interested in pursuing further educational development to work effectively with children and youth, especially those who experience emotional and behavioural difficulties.
WEVAS Incorporated is owned / operated by Michelle Bradley-Bahuaud. It was founded in 1993 by Dr. Neil Butchard and Bob Spencler, all Manitoba Psychologists. WEVAS® specializes in finding peaceful solutions when children and youth experience emotional and behavioural disturbances ranging from anxiety to violence. WEVAS® offers certification courses designed for Early Childhood Educators, Educational Assistants, K-12 Educators, parents, and the general public.
The current value of the WEVAS Incorporated Graduating Student Award is $450 to be applied to registration in the WEVAS® 2.0 Online Certification Course.
One award recipient per graduating class per year is selected by the school’s administrative team.

The student will receive a certificate from WEVAS Incorporated upon successful completion of the WEVAS® 2.0 Online Certification Course. A copy of this certificate is required by employers and by training programs (e.g., Early Childhood Educator, Educational Assistant) for such things as job applications, ongoing employment, and course completion verification purposes.
A list of award recipients will be maintained with acknowledgement on WEVAS® social media and in the WEVAS® WISDOM Newsletter.
The Manitoba Association of School Superintendents (MASS), First Nations Educational Authorities, Private Schools, and Grade 12 equivalency Training Programs have received or can request information about how to register a Grade 12 graduating student to receive this award. This information is not available to the general public and requires authorization in order to access it.
